Matt Dolan, an Ohio state senator and Senate Republican candidate, promised in June 2020 to pass police reform in “memory of George Floyd.”
In the wake of the death of Floyd, Dolan posted in June 2020 on Twitter, now known as X:
I saw this post on social media, it summarizes how I feel:
“You keep saying — it’s horrible that an innocent black man was killed, but destroying property has to stop. Try saying — it’s horrible that property is being destroyed, but killing innocent black men has to stop.”
I don’t have all the answers, but I know we must listen. The messages of activists across Ohio are being heard. Our country, our state, and our community can do better at addressing racial inequalities.

“D-publican”
Does he mean George Floyd criminal ? Reform the Police for the criminals ?
Hey Dolan- an innocent man is in prison because of liars like you who ignored the facts during the trial!
He needs to be confronted on this every time he shows his face back in Ohio. Preferably by his MAGA primary challenger.
Typical equivocating Uniparty (R) politician. He would fit in perfectly with all but two or three current pubbie Senators in the Senate swamp.
Hey Dolan, FENTANYL killed George Floyd, period! The same garbage that is being smuggled over Biden’s unguarded borders! What are you planning to do to fix THAT?
FU Dolan! Making a hero out of this creatin is despicable.
“I don’t have all the answers”
I don’t have any of the answers ... I’m just trying to garner the black vote
There, fixed it
What would he like to pass in the name of Laken Riley, Kate Steinle, Mollie Tibbets and a cast of hundreds more offed by animals in the country illegally?
Innocent black man? Not hardly. An ex-con petty criminal, with enough fentanyl in his system to kill most folks three times over!
