They don’t care how many receipts and proof you show up with. They will continue to lie, lie and lie some more. Then they’ll spit in your face and dare you to do something about it.
The sad fact is , the media has nothing to lose. They are already at the bottom of the barrel as far trustworthiness goes and mostly get their directives from the top- all the way from the top- another group with zero credibility. So they can say and do what they like to preserve their echo chamber. Anyone who does an interview needs to do what these folks here have done. Expect bias and expose bias.
I haven't watched "60 Minutes" since 1968. They intervened an executive from my company and edited the answers and sometimes even the questions so that the answers portrayed the exact opposite of what was actually said.
They were lying then, and still lie today.
