For the sake of argument…let’s say Russia is indeed loosing 1000 soldiers per day. It shows how serious they are about this being an existential threat. It also shows the desperation of their resolve.

If they will do this, they will also push the nuclear button. Which should put fomenting Revolutions on their border in a new light!

I know this will not move the Zeepers, but it’s a fair bet any victory the US and NATO get in this conflict will be Pyrrhic at best with the devastating loss of many American and European cities.

I live in podunkville, so I will not feel the direct blasts. But perhaps the warmongers will?

“If they will do this, they will also push the nuclear button.”

But they haven’t.

Putin is a sociopath, who does not empathize with other’s suffering - but he does care about his own goat-smelling butt.

If he were to launch nuclear weapons, he personally would be near the top of the target list - as good as dead. Only a minority of the populations of Moscow or St. Petersburg would be likely to survive. The end of Russia, as a coherent nation.

It shows how serious they are about this being an existential threat.

No western nation has any interest in invading Russia. NATO is only an "existential threat" if you grant Moscow the right to annex all of Europe and the Balkans, not to mention Finland, a "Putin's Brain" has said they must do.

QUOTES: (via Wikipedia)

"Germany should be offered the de facto political dominance over most Protestant and Catholic states located within Central and Eastern Europe. Kaliningrad Oblast could be given back to Germany. The book uses the term "Moscow–Berlin axis".[9]"

"France should be encouraged to form a bloc with Germany, as they both have a "firm anti-Atlanticist tradition".[9]"

"The United Kingdom, merely described as an "extraterritorial floating base of the U.S.", should be cut off from Europe.[9]"

"Finland should be absorbed into Russia. Southern Finland will be combined with the Republic of Karelia and northern Finland will be "donated to Murmansk Oblast".[9] "Estonia should be given to Germany's sphere of influence.[9]"

"Latvia and Lithuania should be given a "special status" in the Eurasian–Russian sphere, although he later writes that they should be integrated into Russia rather than obtaining national independence."[9] "Belarus and Moldova are to become part of Russia, not independent."[9]

"Poland should be granted a "special status" in the Eurasian sphere. This may involve splitting Poland between German and Russian spheres of influence.[9]

"Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia, "Serbian Bosnia" and Greece – "Orthodox Christian collectivist East" – will unite with "Moscow the Third Rome" and reject the "rational-individualistic West"."[9]

"Ukraine (except Western Ukraine) should be annexed by Russia because "Ukraine as a state has no geopolitical meaning, no particular cultural import or universal significance, no geographic uniqueness, no ethnic exclusiveness, its certain territorial ambitions represents an enormous danger for all of Eurasia and, without resolving the Ukrainian problem, it is in general senseless to speak about continental politics". Ukraine should not be allowed to remain independent, unless it is cordon sanitaire, which would be inadmissible according to Western political standards. As mentioned, Western Ukraine (compromising of Volynia, Galicia, and Transcarpathia), considering its Catholic-majority population, are permitted to form an independent federation of Western Ukraine but should not be under Atlanticist control."[9]

That's just for starters. Complete world domination is the ultimate goal. (Unfortunately the book excerpted appears to be out of print, so I'll be researching alternatives tonight.)

I never claimed to be a whiz at math and being that I'm an aging Boomer I go by the ‘’old math’’.

If you multiply 365 days a year times 1,000(casualties a day) the correct answer would be 365,000 would it not? For a two year period that would be 730,000. Seems somethings off in someones calculation. At least as I see it.
