Tort for surety bonds are nothing to scoff at. They are real and they work. Although they like to scoff at and hide the reality and power of tort, this is exactly how Law Enforcement is corrected for screw ups all the time.
Tort for surety absolutely has sharp teeth. It is one of the few legal options left the people can indeed use with some power behind it.
