That’s a little too simplistic. Yes those people do have immunity - for acts taken as part of their official duties. A judge would not have immunity for robbing a store or even running a red light. Congressmen are only immune for acts taken on the floor of Congress or while traveling to Congress - and even that is limited. The question SCOTUS has to answer is whether the acts Trump is Charged with were taken as part of his duties as president or as a candidate for office (in the DC case), or as a past president (in the Florida case).
