Tony Bobulinski told the committee he expressed concern about Hunter and James Biden’s ability to overrule him on corporate decisions in the CEFC deal. That’s when Hunter let Bobulinski know that CEFC’s Ye Jianming and Zang Jianjun were in business “to be partners with the Bidens” and that “the #1 (Xi Jinping) has made that clear.”
Mr. Bobulinski said #1 was Xi Jinping. Hunter called him “my chairman.”

DEFIANCE, Ohio (WANE) — An area of southeast Defiance has been shut down due to an explosion at an oil refinery Wednesday afternoon.
The explosion happened at the Glycerin Traders oil refinery plant in southeast Defiance.
Around 4:15 p.m., the Defiance Police Department posted on Facebook warning residents to avoid the area of Columbia Street near Ottawa Avenue, Greenler Street and Sauers Avenue due to an “emergency situation.”
An employee at Clifford R. Hunt Inc., a business located across the street from the explosion, told WANE 15 he could feel the explosion from his office and could see flames at the oil refinery, but police never told him to evacuate the area.

The University of Memphis is facing national outrage from conservatives over allegations they colluded with radical activist groups to sabotage a campus speech by Kyle Rittenhouse.
Some are calling for a state investigation of university administrators accused of strong-arming Turning Point USA student leaders. Others are demanding that the university face legal action.
University official stood down and allowed students to disrupt Rittenhouse’s remarks during an event sponsored by the campus Turning Point USA chapter...
Kirk also accused the university of sabotaging the event. Just hours before, the university rescinded thousands of tickets. TPUSA says that decision resulted in hundreds of people being denied access to the speech.
“Most shockingly, we have gathered credible information that school administrators have leaked the new ticketing information to protester groups so they can reserve large numbers of newly issued tickets and sabotage the event,” Turning Point said in a statement. “We know this because some of our students are in the protester group chats. There is no way these groups could have known the new ticketing timing and protocol without school administrators leaking that information. This has never happened before at a TPUSA campus event.”

U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake has made another legal move in her effort to have electronic vote tabulating machines banned in Arizona by filing a petition for certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday along with 2022 Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem, who is now running for a state Senate seat.
The pair “filed a 210-page petition with the nation’s top court last week, asking it to consider their case. The duo challenges the use of electronic machines that count votes, alleging they are hackable and not properly tested,” USA Today reported.
