This is the downside of women who are raising children getting into politics, or any other high-pressure career that consumes a lot of your time. Unless that woman has a supportive man at home who truly assumes the primary role of staying home to run the household and be the main caretaker of the children, it often turns into a disaster.
Those kind of men are hard to find (and I say that as a man). Most men are just not wired for such a domestic role.

Fathers don’t take the place of mothers.
In sad necessity we do our best. But kids need their moms to be their moms and their dads to be their dads.
There are many women who have careers and can’t be at home with their kids and putting their energy and know how primarily into them. For those who have no choice they have my sympathy. But if you have a choice, stay home and mother that child.
