Everything boils down to the problem definition. For Pichai, the problem isn't that their product wasn't delivering the desired results: it certainly was. The "Problem", for them, is that they accidentally revealed their dystopian worldview to the normies. The "Fix" will be tuning their woke AI to conceal their true goals.
