It just amazes me that in this world with so many people who cause so many problems with crime, mental illness, and thirst for power, we also have people like the Sinise family, who serve others, battle disease with dignity and fearlessness, and bring joy with the way they go about their lives. Whenever I think we are doomed, I hear of inspirational people who handle the deepest tragedy with grace and love and faith. As much as I am saddened by the passing of this courageous young man, I am touched by the love expressed from his father. God truly works in mysterious ways.
It's weird that when I heard of another young man passing at first I thought "drugs." As silly as it sounds, I was relieved to learn it was cancer and not drugs that he died from.
May young McCanna rest in peace. The Sinises seem like an outstanding family.
Probably everybody here knows that Gary Sinise has done so much for our Veterans and First Responders. He launched and runs the Gary Sinise Foundation. If you didn't know, it's a fine organization and worthy of a donation.
and it reminds us, the good do indeed, seem to die young....meanwhile the worse of the human race lives on.....
A fine epitaph.
