Democrat Dingell says Trump may have ‘nuked Gaza’ amid anger at Biden

Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) warned Tuesday that her colleague Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-Mich.) anger at President Biden over his administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war could backfire if it helps elect former President Trump, who she said could be far worse for Palestinians.

Dingell said it is important to listen to the Muslim and Arab American communities in Michigan, as voters in the state go to the primary polls on Tuesday. Tlaib has backed a push for Democratic voters to vote “uncommitted” in protest of Biden’s support for Israel, and refusal to back a ceasefire in the war.

But Dingell said that Palestinians in Gaza would have been worse off if Trump was in the Oval Office when Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, killing some 1,200 people and taking about 240 hostages.

I have an Egyptian friend that is utterly convinced of that premise. The utter illogic does not matter, it’s what he has been told his entire life.

Look at those who were lied to about masking/vaccines/multiple shots, and their complete conviction that “the anti-vaxxers” were the ones misled. This was only over a very short term of months, though it was from EVERY common media source.

Now expand that to one’s entire life experience.

Some folks are irredeemably misled, and there is NO way to release them from their mistaken perception.

Maybe the simpler explanation is more accurate. That Israel created Hamas and manages it through direct orders so they can reap the benefits of controlled opposition.

So you’re saying we should abandon the most logical explanation—that Israel created Hamas for the purpose of controlled opposition—and that we should instead believe the narrative handed to us by the corporate media?

That would be as valuable as a blind man’s help to a sniper.

It doesn’t seem like they have much control over the opposition and haven’t gained much benefit either. They are at war; their economy is taking a beating, people are dying.
