Welcome to the lighter side of self-immolation, and I don't mean the age-old debate between the classic sturdiness of a Zippo vs. the disposable convenience of a Bic. We're here to enjoy, if that's the correct word [Steve, that is not the correct word —editor] the best of the worst social media reactions to the rather showy protest suicide on Sunday of one Aaron Bushnell, USAF.
He died shouting, "Free Palestine!"
Before you protest that it's indecent, unkind, and even inhumane to make fun of a crazy person who died in one of the worst ways possible, I'm here to tell you that I don't believe for one second that Bushnell was mentally disturbed. He was a committed revolutionary leftist, a vicious antisemite, and he willingly died for what he believed in.
Why are we letting unhinged Communists into the US military?

When you're being praised by someone whose bio is "From River to Sea," it's a sure thing there's not just murder but genocide in your heart.
Yet our own Air Force let in a self-proclaimed "revolutionary" who killed himself while implicitly demanding the expulsion or murder of millions of Jews, hopefully before he could do any real damage to the Air Force? Yeah, I'm going to laugh at him, given the slightest opportunity.
"I said yesterday that everything this kid touched from his enlistment papers on needs to be looked at HARD. Starting to think I was right," is what atlanticcoast63 had to say about that.

I can accept someone who is against capital punishment for moral reasons, but as soon as someone says “The Death Penalty is not a deterrent to murder”, I shut them off.
IMO, the Death Penalty should be swift and public after a fair and speedy trial.
Waiting until nobody remembers who the victim, perpetrator or even the crime committed was 30 years after the fact is not going to deter anyone.
I always thought about My Resume.
“Up In Smoke” has some Bad connotations.

It took 2 days. He's in the morgue cooler, now.
Well done, literally, oh good and faithful Leftist.
He still burns in hell today…
I’m good with that…
It took the Army several years and constant pressure to discharge the communist West Point graduate who was a lieutenant leading US troops at Ft Drum.
You all really think Nidal Hasan is in prison? Has anyone you would trust seen him there lately?
“That guy never thought it through”
An employee where I worked told his work/cell mates he planned on murdering his former girlfriend’s father that night. If it didn’t work, he’d light himself on fire. He broke into the man’s house, and they fought. The .22 rifle jammed. Having failed, he got a container and filled it with gasoline at a store, then went door to door asking for matches. Someone gave him matches. He went to the end of their driveway, poured the gas over himself and set himself on fire. He took three days to die.
There were so many things wrong here I don’t know where to begin. First, I would have fired the whole cell. They knew about a planned murder, and nobody doubted he’d do it. But they were black, so they got grief counselling. Apparently, everyone knew how f****d this guy was, and nobody started a book on him so they could get rid of him. Because he was black. And who would give matches to someone at the door holding a can of gasoline?
Very unfortunately.🤨
Ah. I was talking about that Army Major Jihadist psychiatrist Hasan who killed and wounded a bunch of people.
But I see your point.
