We unfortunately have an open primary in South Carolina. They had said something like only 4% of Democrats voted in the Democrat primary. I believe a lot of them showed up for the Republican primary because again sadly they can do that here in South Carolina.. but even with that Trump still won!

I was not aware of that. I think open primaries are bad.

Would a union accept non-union persons voting in the selection of their leaders? No.

GOP majority state legislatures should outlaw open primaries in their state.

I wish the RNC could even disqualify the delegates achieved in open primaries, in an effort to force states to change their laws.

“Independents” have no right to complain. They can register for a party, or not, their choice. But they have no right to choose candidates for a party they are not registered in.
