What is to stop President Trump from having all of them Criminally Prosecuted for Deprivation of Rights under the Color of Law, after he re-elected??

joesbucks isn't a conservative, not even a conservative with differing opinions, which is just fine. Differing opinions expressed well make for learning, and getting at the truth.

He's a lefty, that's it, and all of it. Goes on this board with the most asinine comments and opinions that I've seen.

An excessive fine assertion under 8th Amendment would move the issue to Federal court, but likely that particular district, that will not be friendly.

It’s a long path to the USSC.

I had heard he must pay the fine before he can appeal to a higher court but I’m no lawyer

He can appeal without paying, but that takes time. Without paying, he can't stop the gal from enforcing the seizure of his property.

Pure vindictiveness on the judge's part. As President Trump noted, there is no harm in a delay.

You’re 100% correct. Rip would know what to do. This country has way too many corrupt “judges”.

Letitia James is a thief, and Engoron is her accomplice.

...but the lawyers aren't doing a great job either.

You act as if Trump had better lawyers, they could have convinced this utterly corrupt judge to suddenly be fair. Not even Perry Mason would have won this case with a politically motivated judge like Imamoron.

It's almost like having Nicolle Wallace or Katie Couric on the board.

If he wins appeal how do they unseize the property?

Kenny appeal this ruling without paying anything? This might have been a good tactic.

It will certainly be very painful and fraught with more financial warfare and lawfare.

Hey America, do you feel it yet? Don’t you think that this communist thuggery will eventually lead to hot conflict? History dictates that it’s a sure thing.

That Time Judge Engoron Pulled a Fani Willis
PJ Media ^ | 02/22/2024 | Athena Thorne

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4219261/posts

The most fascinating little news report has just resurfaced after going unnoticed lo these 22 years.

It seems that a certain New Yorker named Arthur Engoron, then a little remarked upon 50-something law secretary, may have tanked an $11million lawsuit with his unethical dating habits — ultimately forcing the judge who had been presiding in the case to recuse himself.

An ugly divorce boiled over into a defamation suit in Manhattan Supreme Court, with Justice Martin Schoenfeld presiding. But in shades of a Fani Willis-Nathan Wade-style entanglement, Schoenfeld's naughty secretary, Engoron, saw fit to take up with the prosecution's secretary.

============

It appears that Engmoron has ALWAYS been a greasy little pile of dogsqueezins...

Kinda hard to post a bond when you are enjoined from doing business with any bank the have New York state affiliations. There aren’t many banks without NY affiliations that are well capitalized enough to finance the bond.

Trump testified that he has in excess of 400 million in cash which he could use as collateral

How about flogging in a public square each time a judge is overturned?
