No dog should be put down for such an arbitrary reason. If this was your dog, however, it would have been euthanized by the “authorities” after the second bite. The double standard is what outrages me.

I agree.

Why they let the poor dog’s behavior problems go on for so long is criminal.

A dog with that kind of aggression and behavior is NOT an *arbitrary* reason for putting it down.

That dog absolutely needs to be put down and long before it got to 24 incidents.

It may not be the dog's fault that it became aggressive like that initially, but once it learns that kind of behavior, it's a threat and cannot be trusted any more.

Besides, it's a dog. If it can't be controlled by training, it can be stopped with putting it down.
