I’ve got a knucklehead 60 pound Husky pup who loves to show off his pulling ability. He drags me a quarter mile a day, I drag him the quarter mile back. Great exercise.
That reminds me of the days when I had a Samoyed puppy.
I would take her out for training with my training book in my hand—since I was new to this.
I would let her go and she would walk about ten feet from me and then sit down and look at me.
I would call her name.
She would look away. Then she looked back. Then she would run ten more feet away from me.
She could do this for hours.
Lol.
A friend of my wife’s has two huskies that take HER for a walk every day. I see her in the park occasionally. I don’t know how she does it.
