The Alabama Supreme Court has ruled that frozen embryos can be considered children under state law, a decision critics said could have sweeping implications for fertility treatment in the state.

Well, if embryos are children, then abortion is murder, right? Will they now start prosecuting doctors, etc.?
This will have ramifications far beyond IVF.
If you went through IVF and it took a couple weeks and you were able to treat it like a vacation, then whatever country you were in and the US have VERY different definitions of IVF. Did you do an IUI process, perhaps, and not a full IVF where you take birth control and have to give yourself injections every night for weeks and have to have eggs harvested and then go through weeks of testing and then implantation?
Go ahead. If that's what you want to do; if killing babies is so important to you as to overwhelm everything else, you absolutely SHOULD vote for The Party of Babykilling.
If you can look under a microscope and see a dozen cells with the wrong number of chromosomes as to make them not able to reproduce themselves and form a human life and call it “a baby” then you are dumber than even I initially thought. The world will be a smarter place the day you don’t wake up.
Yes. You should vote Democrat. Your fascination with death would fit right in. Please be sure to vote for all democrats on your ballot. They most accurately represent you.
Do you think we should be charged with eight counts of murder?
“How many children are you and your wife going to kill, to get the one you want?”
Even in the course of natural sex, more fertilized eggs die than go to birth. How many fertilized eggs died to get the ones you wanted?
This is why the Republicans, I’d they want to win, will make these type of issues be non-federal and kept at the state/local level. Failure to do this ensures that the Dems will win and force all 50 States to be exactly what social conservatives fear that their local State could become on all these types of issues while ensuring that Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden clones are making all the laws from top to borrom across the US. It really is this simple and it’s shocking how pig headed people are when they deny this political reality.
Irrelevant. With natural sex you aren’t in control of or responsible for the process of implantation. Your responsibility starts when you are successful.
With IVF you are taking charge of it. I know IVF couples who claim their failures as lost children and the numbers are pretty shocking to me. There is no way I would be willing to go through that process.
Yes.
Are you going to vote for Biden?
And if you had read my comment #19 you'd see I already answered your question, but I understand your difficulty in reading comprehension. Go thump your bible you old fool.
I have noticed that there is a certain sort of person who simply cannot discuss controversial matters without hurling insults and death-wishes.
Woman sent to jail for having a headache.
Me: This issue is going to hurt Republican chances of winning elections, and it's personal to me because my wife and I are going through it in the pursuit of having a child.
Your FIRST reply: "How many children are you and your wife going to kill?"
But you think I'M the one who started with the insults??? I think I understand why this issue is so important to you. You must have less than 46 chromosomes and you would've been discarded, as you should have been. Because no normal person lives in your reality.
We started the process in the United States, that is with the drugs. Harvest and implantation was done overseas.
“Irrelevant. With natural sex you aren’t in control of or responsible for the process of implantation. Your responsibility starts when you are successful.”
If both processes cause the death of fertilized eggs then it is only a matter of numbers.
Perhaps in the future IVF will result in fewer lost fertilizations than natural sex.
Not in the least. Thirty people killed by a cancer is not morally equivalent to thirty people killed by medical malpractice.
“Not in the least. Thirty people killed by a cancer is not morally equivalent to thirty people killed by medical malpractice.”
Not related
Exactly related.
“Exactly related.”
No. Cancer and murder are two unrelated events.
