Rather than the state of the race, its the state of her mental health that is becoming clear. She’s all of the things you cite.
I see 2 possible reasons for her continuing:
1. RFK running mate slot
2. Wants to be in position as the “next one up” if Trump is either assassinated (he’d better seriously watch his back) or is somehow inextricably crippled by his legal entanglements.
