A tyrant subverts the Constitution, like we saw from Bush I onwards with Trump as the lone exception. Like it or not, Lincoln followed it.

I guess you are falling for the left’s tricks. One of the goals of polling APSA members was to polarize the public, specifically with false dilemmas like their “results” show.

Lincoln followed the constitution when he deliberately started a war without the consent of Congress? He followed the constitution when he unilaterally suspended habeas corpus even though the courts were working, and jailed between 13,000 and 38,000 people without charge or conviction - or at best "trial" before military tribunals? Lincoln followed the constitution when he shut down over 100 opposition newspapers and censored all telegraph traffic in the US?

You're falling for the Left's tactics if you think trampling on the bill of rights like the above and several more examples makes the tyrant Lincoln "great".
