For Putin everything is an escalation. Even the countless Russian people mourning Navalny with some flowers, are now being arrested en mass, for subversion against the State.

Thus, we don’t care what he is afraid of. We just have to keep arming Ukraine till it wins against Russia. Total victory. Ukrainians have already retaken about 50% of what the Russian invaders had originally taken in Ukraine. So total victory is clearly feasible for Ukrainians. More gear, more equipment, more ammo. Europe has now started the process - doubling what America has given. And it’s only a start! All good.
Only communist parties in Europe seem to be unwilling to help Ukraine.

My parents told me how in the late 1930s all the commies were trying to keep the US out of war. Then Hitler broke the pact with Stalin, and attacked Poland. For a while all the commies were very confused, then they all began supporting our entry into the war to support Russia against Hitler. I imagine our pro Russia/Putin commenters here will need a little time to figure out what they should say next, now that Putin prefers Biden.
