I'm sure you're aware that Michael Cohen was the lawyer who "allegedly" paid off Stormy Daniels (Stephanie Clifford) on behalf of Donald Trump, which is the basis for Alvin Bragg's case that he boot-strapped into a federal election crime.

Furthermore, at the time Clifford was being represented by Michael Avenatti, who is now in prison for stealing Clifford's book proceeds.

So, Cohen and Avenatti are at the center of Bragg's campaign finance fraud case against Trump? And we're supposed to think that Cohen is credible here and there (where Trump is concerned), but a criminal liar everywhere else?

Perfectly legal. It was a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). That case will just go away. I can't picture using Michael Cohen as a star witness. It would be great to see F. Lee Bailey come back to cross examine him on credibility.
