Hi! What a day!
First, I canceled going to my sister’s gig in Cape Cod so I could go out with my other sisters, one of whom brought her two-year old grandson with her. We went to a Greek Restaurant and had a magnificent, authentic , feast.
The little boy is fascinated by firetrucks, so my other sister, who works at the firehouse, brought us to the station to look at the fire engines and take pictures of the little boy wearing a firehat and gazing at the REAL Firetrucks, while clutching his toy firetruck. He zoomed around the firehouse, wanting to see every truck, boat, ambulance, and piece of equipment but wouldn’t stand still for a nice picture. Oh Well.
While we were at the station, my other sister called, in a total panic attack, because she was in a fender bender in a parking lot. She managed to get home safely, but now she doesn’t trust her brakes.
I did not want to drive her all the way to the Cape, but I told her to get her stuff together, and I would drive her to her son’s house, who is in the band and can drive her to the gig.
By now it was snowing, and the drive on Rt. 3 was filthy. My windshield wipers couldn’t keep up with the road salt and dirt that was building up on my windshield.
I dropped her off with her guitar and mike stand, pedals, and overnight bag so she can crash on the couch at her son’s house after the gig, and drove home, retracing the ride all the way back up Rt. 3.
By now, the sun had come out, just him time for a magnificent sunset.
But I am DONE for Today! LOL.
Now I plan on settling in for a nice, sane, calm, Trump Rally with my friends. :-)

Glad your sister’s fender bender was just that....Your firestation trip sounded great for a young energetic boy!!
Two year olds tend to run around, no matter HOW well behaved they usually are, when they are excited about being somewhere that interests them. I bet your Great nephew had a ball.
So sorry about your other sister's car accident AND your drive in the snow!!!!
We had MORE damned snow too. Thus far ( and I do hope that this is it for the year! ), we've had more snow in a week, that we often get in an entire winter. BOOOOOOOO!
