IOW, I don't think Barnes (a very experienced and influential lawyer) was offered what Wade got, making the point that Wade was given preferential treatment because he was Fani's paramour and because he might return some of that sum to Fani (which he did).
When there on so many lies by so many witnesses, it gets complicated.
Apparently, there IS one more witness, so the hearing will not be concluded today. Plus, the judge will speak to Mr. Bradley in chambers and determine which information is privileged before he is allowed to testify further.
