Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAffee will hear evidence on the Michael Roman motion to disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis and Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade from prosecuting the Trump election interference case. Watch LIVE on RSBN on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. ET
My streaming just froze up (the only drawback to living in the middle of nowhere).
Someone update me on where we are at! Does Wade understand anything about taxes, receipts, evidence, or attorney/client privilege?
Remember, this is the guy the DA’s office hired who was going to bring down President Trump via a very complicated RICO case.
The “it’s a thick document” defense...
Michael Scott looked more competent during his deposition about his relationship with Jan Levinson than Wade does now.
Followed by the “it was a birthday gift” defense. Unreal this guy...
Ah! A well-known legal tactic that “thick documents” defense!

Judge Sets March 25 Trial Date in Trump’s Hush-Money Case
The New York judge presiding over the case also denied the former president’s bid to dismiss the 34 felony counts pending against him.
Need to hear more about this tattoo parlor aspect of the case...
‘Cash reimbursements’ in this context is money laundering.
Yeah, bummer, hopefully we bat .500 today...
She just got Wade to testify that he doesn’t know the law regarding disclosure of gifts/reimbursements etc to the DA’s office, even though he’s a lawyer in her employ. A subtle but important point.
She brought up the Aruba trip, you could almost see his mind scramble, oh no Ga. day trips to Aruba.
Sounds like they were living pretty large on taxpayer money.
“She just got Wade to testify that he doesn’t know the law regarding disclosure of gifts/reimbursements etc to the DA’s office, even though he’s a lawyer in her employ. A subtle but important point.”
I just made that same point to my hubby. Wade himself should be well aware of those requirements given he is a special prosecutor being paid by the tax-payers.
He is playing dumb, dumb, and dumber!
Wade is volunteering their travel information that no one, including his estranged wife, was previously aware of.
IMHO, Wade’s testimony has totally destroyed any chance Willis’ office had in continuing the prosecution of Trump, et al.
I think they are about to break for lunch.
Who even makes big cash payments nowadays? Even when I give my wife money of more than $20, I send it directly to her account via Zelle.
You think it's an act ?
Hard to say, I think the judge is pretty sympathetic to Merchant so far but still not sure that it’s enough to put her off the case. However I think if it is shown that Willis lied about when the relationship began (in the judge’s opinion) than it might be over for Big Fani.

“So… you say you paid for the trips and Fanni paid you back for her share. I guess she wrote you checks.” “No, she gave me cash.”
Attorney in the room LOL and judge warns him not to do that again. Fanni’s case is largely coming down to alleged cash reimbursements
Mr Wade was hired to review a Georgia prison where several in custody deaths were occurring.
He completed his investigation and when asked for his report and written work. Notes etc.
He stated it’s all right here, as he tapped his bald head. I don’t need notes. I have it in my head.
