Why should they care? They’ve got the big money donors behind them. So they will win the next election. And the next, and the next.
I read somewhere that there was more turnover in the USSR’s Supreme Soviet than there is in the US Congress. Those are two very different organizations, to be sure. But it’s still an interesting comparison.
Why should they care? The Stupid Party base keeps voting in the ‘lesser of 2 evils’ as if that != evil.
BIG $ still only has *checks notes* ONE, if not ZERO, votes to its name.
So, place the blame where it squarely lies: @ the feet of the electorate.
