Haley’s husband, a Major, is deployed with the South Carolina Army National Guard in a year long deployment with the 218th Maneuver Enhancement Bridge, which is providing support in the Horn of Africa. I am sure he could have stopped his deployment in order to support Nikki’s campaign. This, I think, was the purpose of President Trump’s questioning.
Why would he do that? I thank him for this service, as President Trump should have.
