GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s latest ad showcases former President Trump’s past remarks mocking veterans as she attempts to ramp up her campaign ahead of the South Carolina primary later this month.
Haley’s campaign released the roughly 90-second ad Monday, after Trump took aim at Haley’s husband for being absent; he is serving in the military overseas. The ad includes snippets of news reports discussing past remarks from Trump, including him reportedly calling soldiers who died overseas “losers” and “suckers.”
The ad highlighted Haley’s response to Trump’s attack on her husband, who was deployed to Africa in June last year with the South Carolina Army National Guard.
“Donald Trump had a rally today and in that rally, he mocked my husband’s military service. And I’ll say this: Donald, if you have something to say, don’t say it behind my back, get on a debate stage and say it to my face,”
The ad includes other past remarks, like Trump joking about then-Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for being a prisoner of war by saying in 2015, “I like people who weren’t captured.” It also included Trump in 2018 attacking retired Navy Adm. William McRaven, who oversaw the 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
“Donald Trump has a long track record of insulting our veterans,” Haley national spokesperson Olivia Perez-Cubas said in a statement. “He has no business being commander in chief.

Haley is just horrible.
High words for a woman who’s alleged to have been screwing another man while her husband was deployed.
Even if Donald Trump had called vets suckers and losers, at least he didn’t get us into another war, and if memory serves me correctly we had the short lived veteran’s choice with the VA during his time in office. Also, I’ve heard worse from elected democrats, and a few elected republicans probably utter similar things under their breath, or at the very least think the.
No one cares about John McCrap
Side note, McRaven didn't run for political office but he certainly made political speeches, some of which attacked Trump.
The late “Horrible Haley” campaign is a little too late.
My understanding is that Trump was misquoted, by intent if not words.
Well let's see what the issue might have been: oh, Wikipeida contains this doggerel against Trump
In August 2018, McRaven expressed support for former CIA Director John O. Brennan, whose security clearance had recently been revoked by the Trump Administration. He authored an open letter to President Donald Trump in The Washington Post entitled "Revoke my security clearance, too, Mr. President", in which he affirmed his regard for Brennan, his former colleague, and offered criticism of the decisions and personal behavior of President Trump. McRaven said of Brennan, "He is a man of unparalleled integrity, whose honesty and character have never been in question ... except by those who don't know him." Of Trump, McRaven wrote, "Through your actions, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation.
That aged really well for the man who was fired by Marcinko for being "too rigid" for special forces, but McRaven wormed is way up the promotion ladder the usual way, rubbing shoulders with the political elite.
She is ruthlessly seeking his destruction for sure. Her true colors come out as the desire to be president is showing. She hasn’t got the right stuff and never will. She is a disloyal and ineligible candidate. Her political career is over and makes every cliche about women in politics look true.
People who speak honestly and bluntly are easy prey for people who want to misquote and manipulate. Musk has also been misquoted like that (consider his recent "antisemitism" accusations).
mCraven you mean.
Trump usually has the skinny...is he implying all is not right with the Haley’s ?
She is on the payroll of those who want Trump gone by any means. And she has traded her soul and political career to get on such payroll.
“My understanding is that Trump was misquoted, by intent if not words.”
No, he wasn’t misquoted. The whole thing is a deliberate lie. Even the general who was with Trump and does not like Trump said it was a lie.
BTTT
I think we found our replacement for Harris. And, she is a person of color too. Once she is in, they can 25th ammendment Biden, and they have, apparently, a perfect replacement.
When Trump goes off script he really screws up!
“Noxious Nikki”
He wasn’t mocking your husband’s military service. It was your
“servicing” of others he was alluding to - but you knew that.
