I do get carried away sometimes. It’s basically “sick of all the same blah blah and same arguments”. Which is why I should go to a liberal place where I can get banned right away.
Or, better yet, I should stop this “social media” thing altogether.
You know, I’ve been banned from NextDoor (real, live actual neighbors) and from Maryland reddit. Latter, on the first day - why? Because I dared chime in about the truckers in DC and it didn’t fit their insulting and threatening narrative about “giving them the finger” and how “threatening” and “disruptive” they were (where were you when endless riots went on?).
Again, though, I am pretty serious about the “cult” thing. It concerns me that there is too much “love”. Sometimes, one just has to state it. Just conjecture, perhaps, but then, lots of people have “addiction” problems. It’s not about insulting, it’s about warning. Call it out and maybe someone will listen and take a step back.
I hear you and would encourage you to keep on, let your voice be heard.
Ok here is what I think. And its just my opinion. Trump gets the love because he made promises and kept them. Compare that to the promise after promise made by say. For example Lindsey Graham and his promises on hearings etc. People can only take so much then along comes a guy who isn’t “typy” doesn’t conform, ways what you think out loud. He has got his faults sure but man oh man is he a breath of fresh air. He gets to office and in spite of all the obdpstacles, keeps his promises and builds a country that thrives. In 2020 to add insult to injury the election was stolen (Yes, I believe that from testimony and evidence given). Today he is being persecuted with lawfare. All this did was increase his popularity and bring in lots for new voters.
I truly have issue with rank and file members of the GOP who absolutely sit on their backsides doing nothing to fix the corruption in the GOP but spend all their social media time trashing Trump. For me its remove the log from your eye first....
