I am in favor of pulling out of NATO.

I think leaving the UN would be a mistake because as a founding member with a permanent seat on the security council, we have the power to veto veto any substantive resolution. If we leave, we lose that control.

If we leave the UN, we REGAIN control of our own country and destiny. Without the free rent, and $BILLIONS$ there is no disUnited Nations. Why didn’t we aim those planes at the UN?...just kidding...boogedy boogedy.

“... any substantive resolution.”

Of which there have been none with any effect unless backed by the US. The UN is just a mechanism for channeling US funds to other people. Without US funds the UN has just as much influence as high school student government.
