Sir, that was a video sent out to the world to show exactly what would happen if Israel attacked them. The whole point was to show the Israelis where their little kids were and what would happen if they attacked.
Even trying to show how it could be spun the other weay is giving them credence and cover. There is no cover here, Hamas was threatening the parents and the government.
And if I had been a parent of one of those children, I would have been back in uniform the next day, in line to kill some Hamas. Because the baby will go to Jesus if killed, but I would see the Hamas rats in hell.
And the whole point of gently shushing the baby, and teaching the boy to say “Bismillah” is to obfuscate that intention, which it does. I am not saying that I am confused. I’m saying that those with a political bias of leftardism will use that obfuscation to further obfuscate.
I have grandchildren, and me putting on a uniform will not do a damned thing for them if they were captives, because I am too old to go soldiering around in a combat zone. But there are some exceptionally agile and smart and brave young men who can rescue those kids and send those monsters down to hell. The most I can do is pray for them, defend them in my limited way, and realize that this video will not make good PR, as despicable as it is.
