Democrats are looking to avert an embarrassing defeat in Tuesday’s high-stakes special election for former Rep. George Santos’s (R-N.Y.) House seat, a race that could have broader implications for November as the party hopes to flip the lower chamber.
Although Democrats see the seat as a prime pickup opportunity, recent polls have shown their nominee, former Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.), locked in a tight race with Republican Mazi Pilip, who has sought to tie him to President Biden’s policies, especially on immigration.

Pilip is phenomenal and will do a great job.
Pilip was registered and held office as a Democrat. She’s a religious Jew, and they are trending more conservative and GOP. Too bad there are so few, maybe 10%, but she also has some appeal to middle class Asians, who have pretty high numbers there.
I would be shocked if this Republican candidate wins.

The House better bring up the Mayorkas impeachment vote on Tuesday, which is the day of the NY special election. A loss there will tie the Mayorkas vote, and it will be tabled.
Pubbies put up a poor candidate.Suozzi a typical Rat feeding at the trough. All because of three NY pubbie scumbags who spearheaded the drive to boot Santos, who was no more corrupt than most members of congress.
If Scalise was getting cancer treatments near Washington instead of Louisiana, he could drop by for a vote like all the Democrats do when they’re ill.

The GOP candidate is a Black female Ethiopian Jewish Israeli immigrant.
Polls show the Asians are voting 3:1 for the Democrat.
And GOP is screwed by not pushing early voting as the Democrats do. Snow is coming Tuesday so it’s doubtful they can overcome the Democrat early voting edge.
The Dems hid about 1 million ballots, just in case they are needed.
