Exactly. They skate right over the issue of WHY he had those documents in the first place. As VP or Senator, writing a book is not a legitimate excuse and procedures have to be gone through to gain access to those documents. The SC ignored other reasons he may have had the classified paper-work in his possession. With Trump, everyone immediately went to “nefarious purposes”. For Biden, those issues weren’t even addressed.
As if he had that right for his book but Donald Trump did not have that same right, when Trump was the President and DID have the right to to declassify and possess the documents at Mar a Lago.
I think Judge Cannon, unlike D.C. judges, will look at the language of the law and rule in Trump’s favor. That is why the democrats continue to vilify her in such a manner. They are used to D.C. judges that rule as instructed.
