Got that? According to doofus Putin, POLAND is responsible for starting WWII, because they didn't hand over land Hitler wanted

Typical thug gangster view of Life - "you didn't give me what I wanted, so now I'm forced to attack you"

Putin is a paranoid kook, spreading his Russian lies & propaganda with the help of people like Carlson

“Sikorski .. also noted that Hitler was joined in invading Poland by the Soviet Union, which was an ally to Nazi Germany for nearly the first two years of the war...”

I think that comes as news to most Americans. The Germans and Soviets jointly invaded Poland. France and England were allies of Poland and declared war on Germany.

I’ve read that many Democrats called Stalin “Uncle Joe.” That was before my time. I probably read it in some conservative publication that liberal friends and relatives would never accept. To my surprise, I was able to witness it first-hand. An older relative smiled with his eyes and lips and said “Uncle Joe.” He couldn’t have said Jesus Christ with more love.

A few Democrats I’ve known have credited the Soviets with winning WWII - a war they helped to start. They point to soviet casualties, confusing input with output. Without the US Lend Lease Act (neither a loan nor a lease), the Soviet Union would probably have been defeated.

Of to mention the RuZZians always ignore the fact they were Hitlers allies had a treaty to carve up Poland and invaded and occupied half of Poland.
Tucker is the new Walter Duranty.
And I’m disgusted at “ conservatives” that think supporting RuZZia is a positive act.

It’s a good thing that Tucker let Putin ramble this insane viewpoint for the American public to see.

Maybe now a few of the pro Russian knuckleheads around here will see that he’s not the savior of Western Civilization he claims to be.

Considering and Tucker should have asked him about Stalin and the massacre of the ENTIRE Polish Army officer leadership including all the generals in Katyn- some 10,000 human beings— Putin’s claims show what an A@@ he really is, a facile lying ex KGB/Stasi East German pal.

It was the Nazis btw who did the complete unearthing of the Polish army corpses with classic KGB bullets to back of the head as cause of death. Appalling. And of course Stalin denied it- however since the Archives have been opened Stalin’s signed ORDER is well on record.

Kind of agree with Boris Johnson’s assessment of Tucker’s “interview” as ludicrous. Tucker isn’t as smart as he thinks he is and needs to lay off the chewing tobacco running his mouth.

You know the vast majority of people are so ignorant of the history of the area that they don’t know any better and would believe that BS. We’ve seen that kind of ignorance of the history every day as the neocon Globohomo stooges get hoodwinked into supporting this murderous, unprovoked proxy war.

Another $60 Billion on its way to a thoroughly corrupt Ukraine while the Neo-Cons argue over who in Europe hates who and who started WW II, not to mention censoring Tucker Carlson. Meantime an increasingly mentally unhinged America, led by a drooling senile crook, continues on its merry path to social and financial collapse.

I don’t give a flying flip about Poland, Ukraine, and Neo-Cons. My country is dying before my eyes.

When I hear Poland turn the flamethrower on Germany where it belongs it will all seem a little more reasonable that Russia which essentially drove Germany out of Poland (with next to no help from the US) should STFU about ceding Danzig. Whether Hitler was right or wrong about Danzig probably wouldn’t have mattered because Germans then as now, thing they are the superior race and destined for control.

The ‘Polish Corridor’ and the ‘Free City of Danzig’ were created to give Poland access to the Baltic. Germany lost territory after WWI because it lost the war. Russia lost territory because it surrendered to Germany.

Hitler and Stalin decided to take back what their nations had lost and agreed to split Poland between them in the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Germany would get ‘German and Austrian Poland and Stalin would get what had been Russian Poland. This was signed on 23 August, 1939 and Hitler invaded Poland a week later.

Interestingly, Stalin and the USSR got to keep ‘their’ part of Poland at the end of WWII which are now parts of Ukraine and Belarus.

So if Poland ‘provoked’ Hitler, it was merely by its very existence. And it’s not as if the USSR wasn’t just as guilty for starting WWII, but because they ended up on the winning side, they got a pass.

Russia demanded half of Poland in exchange for allying with Britain and France against Hitler. When they refused, Stalin went with Hitler.

And when the Nazis were invading France, the Low Countries, Denmark and Norway, and bombing Britain, who was their Number One Supplier?

The Soviet Union!

Well, the free city of Danzig and the ‘Polish Corridor’ had been carved out of Germany after World War I.
