BTW, I wonder how they were hacking the phones. I thought phones were pretty secure with the fingerprint and face ID stuff.
If they grab the phone out of your hands while you are using it, it's unlocked. All they have to do is swipe the face every now and then to keep it from locking up. They probably go after your bank account within minutes (or seconds), before you even get a chance to call the bank and lock your account (assuming you don't need an additional passcode to access your account on a phone app).
