I still don’t see where “Presidential elections” and “Ballots” exist in the Constitution.

A literal reading of XIV would conclude that the prohibition (if it exists at all) is a prohibition against TAKING OFFICE, and has nothing to do with the selection method.

I think due process and equal protection would require that each party’s candidate be treated equally.
