Tucker Carlson has confirmed he is in Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin - and he's doing it because 'Americans are not informed' about the war in Ukraine.
The former Fox News host announced on X on Tuesday that he would be publishing an interview with the Russian despot, following widespread speculation after he was pictured leaving the Kremlin in Moscow on Monday.
Carlson, 54, said the interview would air 'unedited' on his website, without a paywall, and on X, making him the first American to interview Putin since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
'Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed,' the conservative commentator said of the conflict in Ukraine. 'They have no real idea what's happening in this region. But they should know, they're paying for much of it in ways they might not fully perceive.'

Falling? For what? Listening doesn't = believing. As an American in the current iteration of America I don't believe anything that I can't verify. That said, we don't help ourselves by walking around with our own fingers in our ears.
It's much better to hear what we hear unfiltered and use our own judgment and verification to filter out the untruths, than to let someone else decide what we hear - using their own biases and agendas to do the filtering.
Certainly an accurate statement.
