Tisas has a very nice 45 for under $400. Panzer Arms has a very nice bullpup semiautomatic 12 ga for around $400 as well. But what you really need is training to develop both skills and most importantly, the mindset to use your weapons as you will most inevitably have to. If you aren’t willing to use your weapons against a threat, you might as well not have them.
