Don’t be outraged by this. Trump and his team already knew this. This claim and the going-nowhere appeals are just a stall tactic.

Correct decision as our elected officials are not above the law. Now, about those charges, they are plain wrong, persecution. Trump was not fomenting insurrection.

What’s next, a higher appeals court or the Supreme Court?

Millions of dollars going to fight these fraudulent lawsuits. Death by 1000 cuts from nuisance opposition.

A president is not a king. I’m guessing that if this is heard by the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals decision will be affirmed.

Is Trump (or any president immune)? No.
That's settled, unananymously. So, the real question, is this legit prosectuion? No. From what I've read and seen, and have said repeatedly, this is persecution.
Unless I'm mistaken, the court was not asked to rule on prosecution vs. persecution.

U.S. Supreme Court, D.C Court of appeals is like a minature federal court of appeals, only a cosy set up, so that the Fed Govt can have their own “privilaged” court for one tiny district.

Every damn “court” in this country needs to be shut down until after the election. The election interference for the Dung Beetle Party being run by the azho “judges” should be a crime.

The legally untested question before the court was whether former presidents can be prosecuted after they leave office for actions taken in the White House related to their official duties.
They certainly can be. That's what the entire impeachment and Senate trial process is for!

What’s next, a higher appeals court or the Supreme Court? This was a three-judge panel on the court of appeals. Trump's team will likely appeal to the full bench of the appeals court, which will also rule against Trump. THEN it goes to the Supreme Court, which will likely side with Trump on presidential immunity.
Meanwhile, a lot of time gets eaten up and this could well be pushed past the election, which defangs it all.
