I’m watching Jesse Watters right now, describing the Senate “bill” in detail.
I knew this was bad, but I am so mad I could spit. This bill isn’t even a joke, it’s totally designed to do absolutely NOTHING about the open border except make it even WORSE. And Schumer says our kids will be fighting in Ukraine if it doesn’t pass!
DAMN SCHUMER
DAMN BIDEN
DAMN MAYORKAS, and
DAMN MITCH MCCONNELL for going along with this!!

“ Among those to heap the most scorn on the agreement was Utah Sen. Mike Lee.”

________________

If Mike Lee, a man who introduced legislation that would allow companies to have 50% of their workforce be H1B visas, is against this, it is either the absolute worst betrayal of the American people in history or he is jockeying for McConnell’s position…or both, possibly.

I was just reading the other day about squatters in Atlanta and New York State.

If the invaders squat in newly finished houses, it would shut the building industry down in those areas.

And I suspect it won’t be long before they figure that out.

They might even demand $200/day/each while the houses are under construction.

I’ve had this fantasy for about 50 years that a Convention of States gets together and votes say 45:5 to remove the Senate...period. A boy can dream.

The reason Mitch put Lankford in charge of giving the Democrats everything they wanted on this bill was Lankford was elected in 2022 and won’t have to face the voters in Oklahoma for another 4 years and thus he figures Oklahomans will have forgotten his treachery. If I were an Oklahoman I would not forget and would hope he gets primaried come 2026

Excerpted from wiki...

In March 1967, shortly before the expiration of his educational draft deferment upon graduation from law school, McConnell enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve as a private at Louisville, Kentucky.... This was a coveted position because the Reserve units were mostly kept out of combat during the Vietnam War....His first day of training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, was July 9, 1967, two days after taking the bar exam, and his last day was August 15, 1967....Shortly after his arrival he was diagnosed with optic neuritis and deemed medically unfit for military service, and was honorably discharged...His brief time in service has repeatedly been put at issue by his political opponents during his electoral campaigns.

This Veteran, from the same era, suspects that somehow there might be draft dodging weasels and then it's just possible that there are especially artful dodgers.

Beyond Mike Lee, which R senators oppose this bill and want to replace McConnell?

Senate leadership screwed this up — and screwed us,

Mike, interesting sentiment, but this is on every single elected Republican. We don't chose and decide to follow your so-called "leadership." You do. You should have ditched your leadership long ago. The peaseants are doing a census of available lamposts while you guys fret over what your leadership is doing to you.

Mitch has been splitting the GOP for years defending his RINO’s and fighting against true conservative Republicans. It’s LONG past the time he should step down or be removed.

The overriding problem here is that the negotiations focus on how much constitutional border authority congress should abdicate to the president. The answer should be “None”.

Congress needs to take back the authority it has already abdicated, set overall annual limits on the total number of immigrants allowed into America, and reject all others.
