What you think you know about Israel, clouds what part Israel has played in the positions of Jesus and what you think happened. What you glean with your mind, is miniscule compared to revelation.
God is not finished with Israel. Jesus returns on the Mount of Olives.
The son, Isaac, was the one God told Abraham he would have. But Abraham had a son, Ishmael, before the promised one. Ishmael’s people are the ones who want the Jews annihilated, so they can have what is promised to Israel.
They are not after peace, they are after the land and all God gave to Isaac.
The high priests of that time, did not know..Recognize God at work. They crucified their King to get rid of the man the crowd followed. The man who performed miracles.. The high priests had no revelation that Jesus was God sent... They considered Jesus an ordinary person. His father was a carpenter.. The royal blood was not in their acceptance.
Jesus wept for Jerusalem. They would suffer much, when they could have had a King. They have suffered.. And when Jesus comes back, they will know.
Today, they are still in the cross hairs of those around them.
