Below is the 2023 Massachusetts State Police payroll. It includes those who earned from $400,000+ on down. Go to the “Your Tax Dollars at Work” main page for more as the Herald keeps adding to this project.
To search on this database, click the magnifying glass icon (at right) and enter names and more. Use the scroll bar at the bottom to move the data over to the right to sort by highest to lowest. Send any tips or questions to joed@bostonherald.com. Follow the Watchdog newsletter for related coverage.
You just have to keep your head down and stay out of their way.
Otherwise, you get The Trump Treatment.
LOL. Good one. Wait a sec! That's all too plausible!
Awesome. I forgot about creating a web archive page. I was too lazy to switch to Chrome to which I’ve added the wonderful “Bypass Paywalls Clean 3.3.8.3”
I just launched Chrome and the page came right up.
I generally stick with Safari on my MacBook Pro, but there are always problematic pages like this one.
The “Bypass Paywalls Clean” extension is wonderful.
Works with all Chromium-based desktop browsers. It’s not available in the Chrome store. You can get it here:

I couldn't update Safari, so I finally found Waterfox Classic, which took care of the problem.
I suggest exploring Waterfox iterations for your Macbook.
“That’s all too plausible!”
If you are familiar with the blogger who goes by the moniker “turtleboy” you’ll know that it’s more than plausible.
It’s kind of a deep dive to learn about Turtleboy’s situation but in summary he’s in jail largely for asking questions about a murder case where a Massachusetts State Trooper very likely planted the evidence that the case is primarily based on.
