1988 USA is largely deceased. I agree there is a wide chasm between Iran’s military capability and ours, but we won’t use it.
That, essentially, is as useful as not having the military capability advantage.

I don’t think things will change much if Trump is POTUS again.
The leviathan of Federal Government can withstand one man for four years.

Then we must elect leaders who will use it. There’s no other choice if we want to salvage and rebuild what’s left of the country I swore to defend with my life.

If he’s not elected we will never know. Right? So stop being Eyore, stop the damned bellyaching, and DO something. Go sign up for a phone bank. Run for a “low level” office somewhere. Precinct Committeeman is a good place to start.

Hell, if you really want a fight go run for a seat on your local School Board. I’ll bet you’d really cause some heartburn there. I’d pay good money to see that.

Do we need to deport 20,000,000 people? Damned straight we do.
Do we need to kill the people who rape, murder, kidnap, and decapitate teen age girls wherever they are? Damned straight we do.

Can we do both at once? I believe we can. Because we have to.

I love what my country stands for, or used to stand for anyway.

I don’t care for all of it. But what I do care for, I care a lot.

And I’ll be damned if I’m going to stand around whining because things get messy. Eff that. They want to kill my kids? Kill theirs first. Except we won’t be doing it first.
