My point with respect to “Iran backed” is that it largely means whatever we want, so long as it foments discussion of war with Iran.
It’s not coincidence that the media regurgitating “Iran backed” started just after October 7th.
Why are we in the Middle East at all?
How is the WoT going? I was serving in a SCIF on 9/11, and my thoughts on the matter are not positive.
Okay, you have personal issues with the poster. I get it.
However, I don’t believe “Iran backed” has only started since after the Oct attack. Maybe it’s being used more often? I haven’t noticed.
I’m not happy with how the WoT is going either, but it’s hard to fight when you have one arm tied behind your back. The RoE’s are crippling to our military and they’re getting worse.

I explained it in simple terms so a simpleton like you could grasp it.

In this instance that’s a distinction without a difference. Iran backs wild eyed head choppers throughout the region. They’ll fund and equip anyone who kills “infidels”.

Be accurate. I want every living thing in Gaza killed. There are no “civilians”’there.

A couple of reasons. The free flow of oil at market prices being one of them. The other is that islam is a genocidal political philosophy masquerading as a religion which calls for complete domination of the world and the murder or enslavement of any who refuse to comply.

Not well. Mostly because our idiot political leaders have declare war on a tactic rather than on those who use terror as a tactic. It’s a subtle yet important difference. Declaring war on “terror” is akin to declaring war on electricity.

That’s because you, like almost all of our so called “leaders” are more focused on the tactics being used against us than the people who are using said tactic.
The source of the problem is islam. It’s a genocidal death cult dressed up to look like a religion.
Here’s an analogy (look it up)for you. Back when India was a British colony they had a bit of a problem with the Thugee sect. Their preferred method of killing was strangulation. They murdered hundreds, possibly thousands, of people in the name of their “god”.
So did the British declare war on strangulation? No, they didn’t. They hunted almost every last adherent of Thugee down and killed them. They destroyed all their temples while they were at it and completely outlawed their “religion”.
That’s how we should be fighting this war. Find the people using the tactic, and every single person who supports them, and kill them. Smash their temples to that murderous pedophile.
Just throwing up our hands and walking away is not going to make things better and it won’t make them decide to leave us alone. It’s a cancer on humanity and it must be excised or it will destroy us.
I’m sorry about the kids. I really am. But they’ve been taught from the moment they drew their first breath to hate us. They teach it in their schools. Their parents reinforce it in their homes. It’s all over their tv shows.
“Kill Jews! Kill Christians!” It goes on24-7-365. There’s no redeeming that. Peaceful coexistence is not possible with that. Anyone thinking it is is a delusional fool.
Those kids, unfortunately, have been more thoroughly indoctrinated than the Hitler Youth ever was. I don’t like it anymore than you do. Probably a lot less because I realize what’s going to have to be done at some point.
But those are the facts. Either we win and wipe all of it out by any means necessary or they do. And they’ve already shown that they’ll use ANY means, no matter how horrible, to achieve their goal.
And that goal, my simple friend, is the destruction of Western civilization. So if you don’t have the stomach for this fight you stay out of it. Because they don’t believe in the Laws of War as we understand them. If 9/11 and 10/7 didn’t pound that into your skull then there’s no hope for you.
