Why is burning them worse than blowing them up? Any way to destroy them should be ok.

Exactly right. Destroyed is destroyed. Don’t lots of high-explosive bombs and shells cause major fires, anyway? So what’s the difference.

Couldn’t they put out the fires with the water being pumped into the tunnels? /s

BTW what is happening with that tunnel “irrigation”? I haven’t heard anything about it recently.
