Actually, I use Julia’s recipe and the cooked bacon goes into the gravy with the cooked mushrooms and tiny pearl onions at the end and simmered for about 5-10 minutes. 😊

Yes...just delicious....I like my bacon a little crispier, so add it closer to the end.
