My understanding is that hamass doesn’t want a temporary ceasefire because they don’t have all the hostages , that’s why they don’t want to do the negotiations in steps. They are trying to prolong this so international pressure gets to Israel

I still believe that the best long term solution is to lay a siege on the Muslims to make them starve so they'll eat anything. Then offer them some bacon to show them what they've missed out on all their lives. Then point out that the only thing keeping them from eating more bacon whenever they want is their clinging to their violent religion.
