Most, if not all, of those real estate investors are Democrats. Especially the big ones.

They aren’t President Donald Trump. They’re safe. Nothing will ever happen to any of them.

The manner in which James used this law will never be used again. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that after the case is done, they’ll modify it so it can’t be used in this manner ever again.

Being democrats will not protect them from the socialists and marxists who are taking over New York. If they are too stupid to figure that out then they deserve what will come to them.

You may be right about that. They finagled to get the E Jean Carroll statute of limitations changed. But I still think, depending on what happens with Engoron, people will be looking to get out--once it is demonstrated they were willing to do it, nothing (well, almost nothing, but we're talking within the bounds of a 'civil' society) stops them from doing it again.
