Fox News ran with the story, citing the New York Post as its primary source for the claim Kennedy, 70, was tapped about the possibility of becoming Trump’s running mate in the 2024 presidential election.
Political strategist Chris LaCivita took to social media to quickly dismiss the claim, saying “This is 100% FAKE NEWS – NO ONE from the Trump Campaign ever approached RFK jr (or ever will) – one of the most LIBERAL and radical environmentalists in the country. For all the fake news – update your stories.”

So any reference to "FReepers" supporting/not supporting something has to be taken with a box of salt.
To me, real FReepers are the ones that concur with Jim's description on the Forum's front page.

Yes, we had FReepers praising Kennedy and badmouthing the conservative movement. It appears that the rats were coming out of the woodwork on that one. Trump said that he could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot someone and he wouldn't lose any voters. For some, he could nominate Kennedy or anybody as his VP and it be hailed as brilliant 4D chess strategy. That is scary. The conservative movement is being infiltrated by more liberal forces, and many do not realize it...or see it and don't care. That is troublesome at best. Unbridled populism is not necessarily a good thing.

If RFK is serious about destroying the deep state, I’d be fine with it too. It would be an attempt to form a super majority of voters against the de facto one party state.
