None of the long range guided weapons can be built without modern western semiconductors. The Houthis definitely aren't building GPS receivers, microprocessors, or any other electronic components in Yemen.
Not much purpose to GPS when you’re aiming at moving targets, and btw Russia’s GLONASS system would be preferred.
I don’t think you understand the minimal requirements of the technology. PCs trashed 30 years ago would have chips of sufficient quality to simply target a laser reflection. Your garage door opener senses a laser along the bottom of your garage to know if it should stop closing.
This stuff is simple. Incredibly simple. Iran does have semiconductor foundries and Russia certainly does, but you have zero need for anything younger than 30 years old to hit these huge, lumbering sea targets. They bought these chips from your landfill.
