2021 when I moved to Richmond, VA the price of a 12 pack of Coke was $5.79. I was shocked at the price.
This weekend it’s $9.99.
Small bags of potato chips for $6. Unbelievable. Potatoes, oil and salt, for crying out loud.
The price numbers are one thing, but the “shrinkflation” is horrendous on top of it all. Everything is smaller except the gallon of milk and the dozen eggs. Even the pound of coffee beans is now 12 ounces.
