A friend of mine lives in California and she’s self employed. She had an accident where she broke her leg and she is hesitant to see any more doctors as she has no health insurance and makes too much to qualify for socialized health care. But get this: Now she can’t work and guess who gets it free now? Those people who never paid US taxes. ILLEGAL ALIENS! Oh my!
I’m semi retired basically run my husband’s micro biz and we have to pay $1200 a month for a marketplace plan with a $7000 or $8000 deductible. I’m in the “donut hole” age 63 and my husband is only 55 (stb 56). I’m using up all my savings to pay for the illegal aliens. Which disgusts me in particular b/c I was a LEGAL alien and then became a naturalized citizen the proper way.
We don’t take any meds and we seldom go to the doctor. We’ve tried sharing plans but they are just as bad and we are basically paying for catastrophic situations only.
